AutoBankData is a privacy-first bank statement conversion tool built for bookkeepers and accounting practices. Upload a bank statement in any supported format, choose your accounting platform, and download a ready-to-import file in seconds.
How it works

Create your account
Sign up at autobankdata.com with your email address. No payment required to get started. You can always delete your account and all your information will be removed permanently -

Bank details are automatically detected
But, if they are not, you can add your bank account details Enter the sort code, account number, and currency. You only need to do this once per account. For OFX files, account details are read automatically from the file. -

Upload your statement
Drag your file into the upload area or click to browse. Supported formats: CSV, Excel, OFX, QFX, and machine-generated PDF. AutoBankData detects the format and identifies the bank automatically. -

Choose your output platform
Select the accounting software you are importing into. The output format is set automatically. -

Download and import
Click Convert & download. One credit is used on successful download. The original file is not retained.
Supported input formats
CSV
Comma-separated files exported from online banking portals. The most common format globally.
Excel (.xlsx, .xls)
Spreadsheet exports, including files with multiple sheets.
OFX / QFX / QBO
Open Financial Exchange format. Bank account details are read directly from the file.
Machine-generated PDF statements from online banking. Transaction data is extracted directly — no OCR involved.
Supported output platforms
AutoBankData works with any bank that produces one of the input formats above. You do not need a bank-specific integration.

Open the converter at autobankdata.com.

Select the bank account this statement belongs to from the dropdown. Click [+ Add account] to save new details.

Upload your statement — drag into the upload area or click to browse. Supported: CSV, XLSX, OFX, QFX, PDF.

For OFX files, review the detected account details. For CSV and PDF, the details from step 2 are used. You can override any field before proceeding.PDF statements must be machine-generated — exported directly from your bank's online portal, not scanned or photographed.

Select your accounting software from the dropdown.

Click Convert & download. One credit is deducted on successful download. The original file is not retained.

Import the converted file using the standard bank statement import flow in your accounting software.
